دستگاه اندازه گیری گوگرد و کلر MESA-7220 بر اساس آخرین پیشرفت‌های فن‌آوری در تکنیک پراکندگی انرژی-فلورسانس اشعه ایکس (EDXRF) ساخته شده است. این دستگاه از فناوری نوری اشعه ایکس اختصاصی استفاده می‌کند که در آن منبع اشعه ایکس قطبی و تک رنگ تولید می‌کند. این روش برای دستیابی به بهترین حد تشخیص گوگرد و کلر بسیار مهم است. این عملکرد عالی سبب آنالیز همزمان چند عنصر و کاربرد در طیف گسترده‌ای از انواع نمونه‌ها و حد تشخیص ppm بسیار عالی را فراهم می‌کند.
